Colour Crash Course In Burgundy

Colour crash course for the new season: BURGUNDY. A fall runway favourite, burgundy is a rich, intense colour that is as sexy as red, yet as versatile and chic as basic black!

Autumn/winter has officially landed and with it a whole host of new trends, styles and colours. So where to start?

If there's one place you should start and finish for the new season, it has to be with the 'IT' colour of the season, burgundy and in all hues and tones!

HOW TO WEAR IT

Don't be afraid of colour girls, there are lots of ways to wear this new season colour staple.
Try a splash of burgundy through a must-have accessory; in a printed piece or for those more colour confident ladies out there, go for head-to-toe color to create wow factor!
Why not try a pair of skinny jeans in burgundy or an oxblood leather jacket and shake up your wardrobe with THE season colour?  It will only be a matter of time before you see how great a neutral and staple it becomes in your wardrobe

WHY WE LOVE IT

Burgundy is neither a brown nor a red, but it as the best qualities of both, which makes it work so well.  Try it in place of beige, navy, gray or black

Burgundy has such a rich, deep tone that it goes with EVERYTHING - team with the hot metallics of the season, mix with berry shades in purple and deep reds or why not clash the look with a flash of turquoise or even pink?  White and black are obvious color team choices, so why not opt for a softer sky blue or even a peach to add a rich feel that is less-expected?  Another great burgundy combo is teaming it with rich creams, especially in patents or textured leathers, so luscious, classic and super stylish!
