WHAT TO WEAR FOR NEW YEAR'S EVE 2013

Don't let the last minute panic and angst of what to wear tonight for New Year's Eve send you into such a frenzy, that you reach for your pjs and stay in in the warm (sounds tempting though doesn't it?) throwing the towel in when it comes to putting an outfit together.

I've put together my style and fashion round-up one more time for 2013 to guide you through when it comes to your wardrobe whether you're headed for a family party or night out on the town.

NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFIT NO.1 - NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN / NYE BASH

A perfect look for a night out on the town or a glitzy NYE bash!  This is the one time of year you can really go to town and pull out all the stops!  Metallics are here to stay for a while, so opt for a show stopping number in gold or silver.   Tone the look down with neutral accessories if this is too much, try black accessories to add some drama or same color shoes and bags to keep the look classic.

Try Dune for similar heels and cigarette clutches and Primark (UK) has some fab clutch bags and chunky cuffs like this one featured for under £10!!

NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFIT NO.2 - WATCHING FIREWORKS / FAMILY GATHERING

Stay warm, cosy and stylish in this effortless look combining loose tailoring, everyday leather and a chunky knit!  Just because it's cold outside, doesn't mean you have to give in to a boring jumper and jeans.  There are so many great chunky knits around at the moment, that when added with leather or skinny jeans and heels look great and uber stylish!

Leather leggings are a cheap and easy way of trying this look, if you're not ready to venture into full on pants yet!  The oversized tailored coat is big news and hot on the rails of the likes of Wallis, Zara and Reiss!

NYE OUTFIT NO.3 - LOCAL BAR OR PUB

Still want to go for some glitz, but fancy an understated look?  Try a cute sequin skirt like this one from boohoo.com, teamed with a slouchy tee and statement biker jacket (as featured by Mango).  The ankle booties are Topshop and dressy enough to lift the look, but casual enough to stay relaxed whilst being stylish.  These booties will work with everything after NYE too, skinnies, midi skirts, leggings for work or play!

No excuses ladies to look and feel stylish this NYE and banish the 'I've got nothing to wear' moans and groans once and for all!

See you in 2014, have a super stylish soiree!
