JASON WU FOR TARGET

So as a true chiconomista, I couldn't let today go by and not give another mention to the fab collaboration which launched today between Jason Wu and Target (see earlier post 'A Little Bit Wu, A Little Bit Aaaargh!' for full details of this!)

This is a true definition of 'chiconomics' - fantastic designer style for less!  So you can imagine my excitement at Wu Day!

As I'm not back in the US until next weekend, a little more military planning was required in order to 'score some Wu' online, especially having experienced the 'Missoni for Target' launch first-hand and being met with 'sold out' and shakes of the head when trying to browse at my leisure, Starbuck's in hand!  This is NOT a leisurely exercise, this is every fashionista for herself!

Poised and ready, I arose at 4am UK time to kick start entering the Target competitions to see what I could bag myself pre-launch!  No joy in the winning stakes, but at least I was there for each and every addition to the site.  I feel like I was there every step of the way alongside 'the transatlantic fash pack'.

I am thrilled to confirm I did indeed 'score some Wu' by 7.30am this morning....

BLUSH STRIPED DRESS - JASON WU FOR TARGET - $39.99 (approx £25)

STRIPED TOTE - JASON WU FOR TARGET - $39.99 (approx £25)

FLORAL SCARF - JASON WU FOR TARGET - $19.99 (approx £13)

TOTAL COST: $99.97 (approx £63)  Not bad!

The Blush Striped Dress has been featured in all the promo campaigns and is cute yet edgy at the same time.  It has a slim belt in black, which I'll probably replace with a nice thin leather belt.

Tote bags are great additions to any wardrobe, you know when you have your stylish handbag and then need another bag to throw the other bits and pieces in.  Whether it's for your children / work / trip away or groceries, make it a stylish choice like this one and you won't let your look down wherever you're headed!

I harped on about the benefit of scarves in your wardrobe, so had to add this beauty.  I love the colour combo and think it could be work with a leather jacket to contrast the femininity or tied around the handle of the striped tote to rock my Wu look.

So I'm even more excited to get back over to the US now, as these goodies will be waiting for me when I get there!  I will be styling them up, so check back for more style tips and laws of chiconomics!
