I'm often asked by my Styling clients 'what shall I wear on my feet' with this dress / shorts / trousers / coloured jeans / skinnies (delete as applicable) - particularly when it comes to a new season trend they haven't tried before, think coloured skinnies, harem pants and so on!
It's true to say your shoe choice will make or break your outfit and look. The colour, style, heel height, pointed/round/open toe all change the entire look and feel of your outfit, so the attention to detail does matter
With heel heights and styles being tweaked every season, it is now wonder you ladies get confused!

Fear not, follow my style tips on which styles to wear with what and how to inject some spring shoe style into your step!
NUDE HEELS
Nude heels should be a staple in every girl's wardrobe and effortlessly replace heavy black courts for the summer months. They will go with everything, add class and style and also lengthen those legs which can never be a bad thing! Opting for a patent stiletto or wedge will finish off any look
WEDGES
If you want some height, but struggle with skyscraper heels, opt for a wedge. Everywhere on the big street, this style will keep your look up to date and comfortable! They will work for every occasion too, dressy or casual so you get it right every time!
SHOE BOOTS & SUMMER ANKLE BOOTS
Your boots may feel heavy and too wintery when the sun starts to shine, but keep one pair of lighter coloured able boots or shoe boots out, as you'll be surprised how many summery looks they'll work with. A great adage to patterned skinnies, shorts and skirts
COLOUR
If you're a little afraid of going head to toe in the latest bright, neon or pastel colours, consider adding some colour through your accessories. Shoes are a great nod to these trends and will add interest to your look
Now's the time to really review, refresh and revamp your footwear collection, as there's a veritable accessory explosion on the high street! I'm not sure I can remember a time where there are so many fab shoes and bags around and affordable at that. Zara, River Island, New Look and even Next have some fab finds. New Look is honestly having a MAJOR shoe moment! For a grand total of £55, I guarantee you to find 3 pairs of shoes, covering different styles that will see you through the new season! The styles are AMAZING for the prices! I styled and shopped a new client today and we bagged a pair of classic wedges, gladiator wedge sandals and perfect height and colour shoe boots for a total of £53, she was thrilled and stylish!

Another hit on the high st this spring, River Island have some beautiful bags and shoes. They have a great knack of adding the right silver or gold hardware that makes it look designer enough but at high st prices

I'm also going to give a mention to Next and their Runway wedges this season. I think Next are best when they step away from what they think they're good at and just keep repeating the same styles year in, year out. When they push the boundaries, they can nail a great piece for quality, style and value but some of their pieces do let them down from time to time I'm afraid. However, the wedges in their Runway collection are amazing this season...
